Burr Steers ("Igby Goes Down," TV's "Weeds") is on board to direct the Zac Efron teen comedy "17" for New Line Cinema says The Hollywood Reporter.
The script, written by Jason Filardi, follows a middle-aged father who wakes up to find he's 17 again; he enrolls in the same high school as his two kids to be close to them.
Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot will produce with production scheduled to begin filming in December.
