John Stockwell ("Blue Crush," "Turistas") will direct Susan Sarandon and daughter Eva Amurri in the bittersweet romantic comedy "Middle of Nowhere" reports Variety.
Amurri (Saved) plays Grace, a young woman whose irresponsible mother (Sarandon) blows her college fund on her younger sister's beauty pageant campaign.
Michelle Morgan wrote the script and shooting begins in September.
