Disney has landed the pitch "Yosemite Three" and will develop it as a comedy vehicle for Tim Allen reports the trades.
Allen will play a corporate employee who heads off on a company retreat. Bored with a mandated nature hike, he and two others hole up in a bar and are reported missing in Yosemite National Park.
They longer they stay missing, the more popular they become in news reports. Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert ("Mr. Woodcock," "Furry Vengeance") will pen the script, based on Allen's pitch.
