Ed Burns will join Katherine Heigl, James Marsden and Malin Akerman in the comedy "27 Dresses" for Fox 2000 and Spyglass reports Variety.
Directed by Anne Fletcher, Heigl plays a perennial bridesmaid who, after planning many weddings for friends, is drafted by her sister, who's marrying the man with whom the bridesmaid is in love.
Burns plays the groom and shooting is slated to begin this summer. Burns just completed work on the Japanese horror remake "One Missed Call."
