Joseph Gordon-Levitt is attached to play the romantic lead in producer Darren Star's directorial debut "The Frog King" for Intermedia and GreeneStreet Films says The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by "American Psycho" author Bret Easton Ellis, Gordon-Levitt plays a ne'er-do-well assistant editor whose penchant for messing up threatens a relationship with his dream girlfriend.
The film is one of six new projects that Intermedia will be offering at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
