Digital Spy reports that "Spider-Man" star Tobey Maguire has said he doesn't "anticipate" doing a fourth movie. Maguire is already signed up for the third film, due for release in 2007, but doesn't expect to stay with the franchise beyond that point.
"I don't anticipate doing a fourth movie. "I think three is probably enough for me, but you never know. If they sent me a script that was better than any I've ever read and offered me a piece of Sony Corporation... never say never, you know? Sony is a big company" Maguire told the Daily Star today (jockeying for a raise hmmm).
His comments though are similar to that of costar Kirsten Dunst, who said last month she would only do a fourth if the script was "awesome."
Meanwhile AICN (sweet jesus those boys have been busy today), has confirmed a rumour that popped up here earlier this week, Jack Black has closed his deal to play the Green Lantern in a film that has been described as a zany comedy version a la "The Mask" of the DC comic superhero.
Thanks to 'Rotter'.
