On a set built in Shanghai, Jackie Chan played a Qin Dynasty general (he has been dreaming about the role for many years), having a match with an Indian warrior for his new film "The Myth".
According to Hong Kong's Oriental Daily, Chan almost passed out after working for a whole day. He blamed it to the contact lenses, he was wearing, which supposed to make his eyes look darker.
This wouldn't be the first such problem on-set. Insomniac Mania reports that JCNews.Net just filed this report: "Jackie Chan had only been working on Stanley Tong Kwai Lai's The Myth for a week. On the 7th he began working on an action scene with a martial arts master when he was stabbed by a bayonet in his right arm, causing it to bleed. Jackie treated the injury like it was commonplace, and affably continued the shoot despite the injury".
