Two quickies from MGM: The Flying Scotsman, starring Brian Cox, will expand on May 4th against Spider-Man 3. Home of the Brave, the Persian Gulf War drama that was abruptly puled at literally the last second, will in fact come out on the rather crowded weekend of May 11th, 2007.
The Brave One, a drama starring Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard, and Michael Clayton, a legal thriller directed by Bourne Supremacy writer Tony Gilroy and starring George Clooney, have switched release dates. Now The Brave One will come out September 14th while Clayton will come out September 28th.
August Rush, a high-concept musical fantasy drama, will come out October 19th, 2007. Though I wonder if it'll end up conflicting with the eariler release of Across the Universe, another more prestigious musical drama.
Fool's Gold, a romantic adventure reuniting the duo from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson), will come out February 8th, 2008.
10,000 B.C., the next feature epic from Roland Emmerich, finally has a release date. Apparently hoping to match the same success as 300, Warner Bros. plans to release the film on the same weekend on March 8th, 2008. I must say, while I didn't see this coming, it's makes a lot of sense.
Spring Breakdown will in fact come out on Spring Break, with it now lined up to come out March 14th, 2008. And finally, Nights of Rodanthe, a romance starring over-the-hill thespians Richard Gere and Diane Lane, will come out against Kung Fu Panda on June 6th, 2008.
