Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear are teaming to star in the DreamWorks romantic comedy "Ghost Town" says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story centers on a dentist who dies briefly during routine dental surgery and gains the ability to see dead people who ask him for help in contacting the living.
Scribe David Koepp ("War of the Worlds," "Indiana Jones 4") will direct from a script he penned with John Kamps and was sold to the studio back in 2005 for a cool $2 million.
The studio is eyeing an October start of production.
