ThinkFilm has acquired North American distribution rights to "The Last Confederate: The True Story of Robert Adams" from Solar Filmworks reports Variety.
The film profiles Capt. Robert Adams, a Confederate officer torn between his love of the South and a woman from the North whom he met as the Civil War broke out.
Julian Adams, the Captain's descendent, produced, directed and stars in the film which was shot where many of the events actually took place.
Gwendolyn Edwards, Eric Holloway, Amy Redford, Joshua Lindsey, Tippi Hedren and Mickey Rooney also star.
