2007/2008 Release Date Changes

'Zephyr' is back with an update on various release date shifts and announcements within the past few days - its been busy:

"Home of the Brave" While it was so suddenly delayed it couldn't stop from being shown on its first weekend, it will come out March 2nd.

"Black Snake Moan" The potential cult-classic has moved from the slightly-crowded February 23rd to March 2nd.

"The Reaping" Delayed from crowded March 30th to the even MORE crowded April 6th

"The Eye" Has been moved up to October 12th this year to face "Hitman", the video game adaptation starring Timolthy Olyphant.

"Alien Vs. Predator 2" Has moved to Christmas Day 2007, which is...interesting. Seeing as how "National Treasure 2" has the weekend to itself, expect some Oscar-seekers to move in. The most likely is "Sweeney Todd."

"Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters" H as moved from a limited release on March 23rd to a wide release on April 13th, where it now stands as the most high-profile movie of that weekend. Who'da'thunk?

"Babylon A.D." The sci-fi thriller from Vin Diesel will come out February 28th, 2008.

"Hot Fuzz" A hilarious-looking police comedic-mystery from the makers of "Shaun of the Dead", has moved to April 20th.

"Wanted" The adaptation of the Mark Millar mini-series about an upstart villian rising through the ranks, will come out March 28th, 2008.

"The Incredible Hulk" Originally scheduled to face the Pixar-helmed "Wall-E" on June 27th, 2008, has moved up to June 13th, a typically popular superhero date.

"The Mummy 3" Has snapped up the post-Fourth of July weekend of July 11th, 2008. It will face Ben Stiller's next directorial film, "Tropic Thunder".

"Mamma Mia!" The film-treatment of the classic musical, will face "The Dark Knight" on July 18th, 2008. Such an alternative choice for the going public, isn't it?

"Hellboy 2: The Golden Army" Has been given an very well deserved Summer date, coming out on August 1st, 2008.

"Spring Breakdown" The Amber Tamblyn & Parker Posey comedy has been yanked from an April release and rumoured to be pushed back to 2008.

"Fierce People" The often delayed family drama with Diane Lane, Chris Evans and Donald Sutherland has finally set a July 20th 2007 release.

"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" The animated fantasy film from Universal comes out on January 11th, 2008.

"In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale" Uwe Boll's disastrous looking fantasy movie with Jason Statham is set for a release this August.

"Bug" The strange looking William Friedkin-directed drama with Ashley Judd will go up against the third "Pirates" movie on May 25th.

"3:10 to Yuma" The Christian Bale/Russell Crowe western has been pushed back from October to 2008.

"The Wolfman" Starring Benicio del Toro will come out on the surprisingly high-profile weekend of November 14th, 2008.
