Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling ("Half Nelson", "The Notebook") is moving from acting to directing for his next project reports Variety.
Tentatively titled "The Lord's Resistance Army," the feature film will star non-professionals and child soldiers, whom Gosling has helped find in East Africa.
Gosling, who is penning the script, has raised nearly all the necessary financing required for the project.
