CL News reports that Christopher Lloyd is set to star in an Australian film called "Wallflowering". He will be the male lead opposite Christine Lahti. The two will play a married couple (Cliff and Peg) living in the 70's, who find themselves out of touch with the society of the time. The two are pressured by friends and workmates to try different things, only to discover that they enjoy being an ordinary couple after all. The two are amatuer ballroom dancers, and music and dancing will be heavily featured throughout the film. They will be joined by notable Australian talent such as Wendy Hughes and Sigrid Thornton. The film to be directed by Sarah Knight and produced by Todd Nelson is based on a popular play written by award winning Australian playwright Peta Murray. Shooting dates to be announced shortly. Meanwhile Netherlands newspaper De Telegraaf reports that Sharon Stone & Demi Moore are wanted by the producers of the new Cagney & Lacey film. Sharon would play Christine Cagney and Demi would play Mary-Beth Lacey. The humoristic style of the old TV series is to be dropped and a more serious storyline, ala "Thelma & Louise" is being worked on.
