Kelly Carlson (TV's "Nip/Tuck", "The Marine", "Paparazzi") will star as a femme fatale in the Azurelite Pictures illegal-gambling drama "Player 5150".
Written & directed by David Michael O'Neill, the story follows Carlson's character - the assistant and lover of a dangerous bookie (Christopher McDonald) out to collect on the rising gambling debt of his client (Ethan Embry).
The bookie tries to shield Carlson's character from the violent side of the business, but he soon discovers she's quite adept at handling it.
The Hollywood Reporter indicates that "Player 5150" is currently filming in Los Angeles and will begin shooting in Las Vegas next week. The title refers to an insider's code for illegal gamblers who are in distress.
