- With "Life on Mars" finishing in its second season, there's talk of a spin-off involving several of the characters and set in the 80's entitled "Ashes to Ashes".
- A great example of the video quality differences of DVD vs. HD-DVD vs. Blu-ray of the same DVD title. There's a notable improvement on the two high-def formats over regular, but the difference between the two is miniscule (HD-DVD seems just the tiniest bit better) and even then only discernible at full 1080p resolution.
