Weinsteins Shell Out For Hot Nights

The Weinstein Co. has picked up U.S., Australian and New Zealand rights to Wong Kar Wai's English-language romantic comedy "My Blueberry Nights" reports the trades.

The film serves as the feature acting debut of singer Norah Jones, who will play a woman taking a long road trip to find true love.

The feature, filled with eccentric characters she meets along the way, was shot on locations across the country this past Summer.

Jude Law, David Strathairn, Rachel Weisz, Tim Roth and Natalie Portman co-star. Wong co-wrote the script with Lawrence Block.
