Australian writer/director Greg McLean, finishing up work on his crocodile horror flick "Rogue", still has plans to bring "Wolf Creek" maniacal Mick Taylor character back to the big screen reports Moviehole.
McLean says that The Weinstein's wanted a sequel right away, but he decided to wait - "[Wolf Creek] was designed to be a particular kind of horror film, not the kind of film you can just pop 'em up. They get trashy. I'm really proud of the film and I don't want to just put out a piece of shit - so if it takes two or three years, it doesn't matter".
Would he still want to do one? "I possibly will be [doing the sequel]. I want to do it. It's such a great character". He hopes to work with his "Rogue" star Michael Vartan, best known for his role on TV's "Alias", in future films.
