When it comes to 'Best Films of Year' time to draw up lists, many people seem to forget almost every movies in the first half of the year, and almost all in the first quarter.
It's understandable to some extent as usually the weakest films of a year come in that period, but every now and then there are one or two real standouts that deserve some love.
This year there were really only a few movies released in the first three months of 2006 that stand out for me at least - "Brick", "Dave Chappelle's Block Party", "Tsotsi", "V for Vendetta" and "Inside Man".
Now the later, the slickly produced, Spike Lee-directed bank heist thriller, is getting a sequel reports Digital Spy.
Original writer Russell Gewirtz is already at work on a script with Lee who is in talks to return as director. Producer Brian Grazer is also expected to come back.
No word on story details though the big question is which of the three main actors - Denzel Washington, Clive Own & Jodie Foster - will be back.
