Pearce Dripping In White Jazz

Guy Pearce is in talks with Director Joe Carnahan to reprise his role of Ed Exley for "White Jazz", the recently announced "L.A Confidential" sequel reports Moviehole.

In "Jazz", a commanding officer at the LAPD named David Klein, becomes a scapegoat so that other officers can protect their own dirty laundry from the probing eyes of federal agents.

If all this isn't enough, someone - some start to suspect Exley - frames Klein for a murder that someone has captured on film. Exley is the only returning character at this stage.

Nick Nolte, John Cusack, Uma Thurman and Winona Ryder were linked to the film at one stage, though none of them are any longer attached.
