Actor/musician Jack Black has been attached to play the superhero Green Lantern in an adaptation of the famous DC comic book series, but that's no longer the case.

"It was true that someone wrote a script for me but I don't think it's going to happen. Too many people were mad at the idea of me being Green Lantern" said Black this weekend to The IESB.

Meanwhile in fantasy of a different kind, young actor William Moseley told Narnia Fans that "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" is still on target for production.

"We're going to shoot in January, and that's going ahead. I haven't seen a completed script yet. They're keeping it really hush-hush. Whether it's even finished, I don't know" he says.

Shooting is scheduled to continue through til mid-late 2007 for a Summer 2008 release.
