Paramount Vantage has acquired worldwide rights to "The Marine" & "Resident Evil" scribe Alan McElroy's script "Fracture", and a director will be attached shortly reports the trades.
The psychological thriller centers on a husband whose family disappears into the inner workings of a hospital emergency room seemingly never to return.
Mike Macari and Neal Edelstein ("The Ring", "The Invisible") will produce the film.
