Moviehole reports that according to the latest issue of Empire magazine, Lindsay Lohan has been signed to play the lead in “I Dream of Jeannie”, the big-screen adaptation of the ol’ Barbara Eden/Larry Hagman series. Gurinder Chada (“Bend it Like Beckham”) is directing the flick, which Jessica Simpson and Keira Knightley were also reportedly interested in doing.
The site also reports that talk of an “Under Siege 3” was ripe at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and a scooper passed onto them: "Seagal is discussing it. Former partner Julius Nasso obviously isn't involved (He was arrested and charged with being part of an extortion plot aimed at the actor), and storylines are being developed - though with whom, is unknown. The first movie scuppered plots for Die Hard 3 and they're hoping this one will do the same".
