Todd Phillips Talks Old School 2

Having just released "School for Scoundrels", director Todd Phillips is intent on a sequel to his 2003 comedy hit "Old School" starring Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson.

He told IGN Filmforce the other day that "My co-writer Scott Armstrong and I, we're working on the script for it right now... We've just started on it, so it's really early in the creative process, but we're excited about seeing where things will go with it".

Will the cast all be back? "Will's interested, but that being said right now we don't have any of the actors involved until we've finished writing the script. Not until the script is done will we go to Will and Vince and Luke and see if they'll do it" says Phillips.

Why do a sequel? "Those guys are why I want to re-visit this. These are characters I loved. It's not like I'm going to get paid more money if I do Old School 2 than if I do a different movie. It's because I think [Old School] really connected with people and it's something I'd like to revisit. Frank the Tank, everyone. I want to see those characters in a different setting and in a real way".
