"Capital City", a two-year-old pilot from "Commander-in-Chief" creator Rod Lurie that ABC passed on, is getting another go at The CW reports TV.Com.
"Capital City" tells the story of a young woman who begins a long, eye-opening journey into politics. CW has picked up the script and will start from scratch, writing and executive producing the pilot script and will direct if the pilot gets picked up.
In the original ABC pilot, filmed in 2004, Leslie Bibb starred in the lead role, and supporting roles were filled by such big names as Peter Fonda, David Paymer, Tom Berenger, and Mary Steenburgen.
