  • Whilst I can't publish my review just yet, I can say that I did see "The Prestige" on Monday and it's really good (3/4 stars on my scale), albeit not at all what I expected. None of the trailers have really got the tone right as it's a very hard film to pin down (trust me that's a good quality). There's a lot of twists, several biggies in particular (got the biggest right away myself but missed the other one), and David Bowie as Nikola Tesla is just inspired casting. Just be prepared, this is not "The Illusionist" (it's definitely better than that) but rather a clever and quite dark tale of obsession taking two men too far - equal parts frustrating, ambitious, original and entertaining.

  • Set pics galore today for a wedding scene from "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", and pics here and here from the Paris shoot of "Rush Hour 3".

  • The first picture is out of Angelina Jolie as Marianne Pearl in "A Mighty Heart".

  • The teaser trailer for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is locked in to premiere with "Happy Feet" on November 17th in theatres.

  • Some cool concept sketches and an interesting interview from the production of "The Dark Crystal" sequel.

  • More poster art madness today including Perfume, Charlotte's Web, For Your Consideration and Flushed Away.

  • So you want a role in the fourth "Rambo"? See if you fit any of these character descriptions.

  • Finally. The cool looking "Superman Returns" video game is set to hit stores November 20th.

  • On French TV show "la grande émission" last night, Director Louis Letterier apparently mentioned a $120 million budget for his "Hulk" film.

  • In TV land, Chad Lowe is set to play a White House spin doctor in next season's "24" whilst 'The Who' frontman Roger Daltrey will guest star on an upcoming "CSI".

  • New Line is still shopping around for a cable network to pick up the second season of "Blade".
