Assorted Release Date Shifts

  • Cheesy hot girls fighting ninjas video game adaptation "DOA: Dead or Alive" has been pushed back even further from mid-October to December 8th.

  • The Weinsteins plan to release Andy Warhol flick "Factory Girl" December 29th for awards consideration.

  • Seann William Scott & Billy Bob Thornton comedy "Mr. Woodcock" has moved up two months to January 19th.

  • The Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton lead film adaptation of the old "Decameron" story has been renamed yet again to "Virgin Territory" and delayed two months to March 9th 2007.

  • Luc Besson's kiddie fantasy film "Arthur and the Invisibles" has been moved up to December 15th.

  • "Copying Beethoven" has been delayed a month to November 10th.

  • Kiddie James Bond flick "Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker" has been delayed a week to October 13th.

  • "The Spiderwick Chronicles" adaptation has been moved back from Xmas 2007 to February 2008.

  • A November 2nd 2007 release date is set for Ridley Scott's "American Gangster".

  • Focus Features is locking in their 2007 slate with the all-star drama "Evening" (June 15th), Jim Carrey/Cameron Diaz comedy "A Little Game" (August 10th), Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution" (September 28th) and Terry George's family thriller "Reservation Road" (November 9th).
