Kristin Scott Thomas has joined the historical drama "The Other Boleyn Girl" based on Philippa Gregory's novel says Production Weekly.
The story revolves around the ferociously ambitious Boleyn sisters, Mary (Johansson) and Anne (Portman), who are rivals for the bed and heart of 16th century English King Henry VIII (Eric Bana). Thomas will play their mother Lady Elizabeth.
Peter Morgan ("The Last King of Scotland") adapted the screenplay. Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch also star, and Director Justin Chadwick begins filming next week in Lacock Abbey.
