By Garth Franklin Monday September 18th 2006 03:56PM

IFC Films is set to release four to six films a year in the $4 million-$10 million range, starting with the North American rights to John Dahl's dark comedy "You Kill Me" reports Reuters.

Currently in postproduction with a release planned in second-quarter 2007, it centers on an alcoholic hit man (Be Kingsley) who heads to California to take a break from his bad habits.

He lands a job at a mortuary, where he meets and becomes romantically involved with the wild stepdaughter (Tea Leoni) of a corpse he's embalming.

After making a friend (Luke Wilson) at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, the one-time hit man soon finds himself caught up in his old profession.
