Michelle Yeoh has signed on for two new films. First up she'll join Sean Bean and Michelle Krusiec in Asif Kapadia's $10 million drama "True North" reports Variety.
Shooting gets underway this week in Norway, and the story follows a woman and a young girl whose barren existence is disrupted by a soldier. Kapadia previously directed "The Warrior" and "The Return".
Yeoh will then star alongside Vin Diesel in "Babylon A.D." for Fox and Canal Plus, with shooting to begin in November. Mathieu Kassovitz wrote and will direct the $60 million adaptation of the Maurice Dantec genetic manipulation novel "Babylon Babies".
In that, Yeoh will play a nun who becomes caretaker to a young girl who might have been injected with a deadly virus.
