"Newmarket Films has picked up all US distribution rights to "Death of a President," the most controversial film at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, The film portrays a realistic depiction of an imagined assassination of President Bush. The distributor paid $1 million for the film, and Maple Films paid $500,000 for all Canadian rights. Newmarket is expected to give "President" a wide release within the next few months..."
