British writer/director Richard Curtis is rumoured to be writing the next James Bond film ("Bond 22" due out May 2008) according to several tipsters reports UK Teletext.
Regular writers Robert Wade and Neal Purvis have apparently been dropped, the duo wrote the first draft of the upcoming "Casino Royale" before Paul Haggis took over the reigns.
Tipped director Roger Michell dropped out of the project - he previously worked with Curtis on "Notting Hill".
Curtis has also penned such films as "Bridget Jones's Diary", "Love Actually" and "Four Weddings and a Funeral" along with having worked as co-writer & producer on acclaimed Brit comedies like "Mr. Bean", "The Vicar of Dibley" and in my humble opinion the best comedy series ever made - "Blackadder".
