It's pure rumour and an unlikely one at that, nevertheless the story has spread to The IMDb that Ryan Phillippe may be set to take over the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the upcoming "Batman Begins" sequel "The Dark Knight". Phillippe beat Liev Shreiber and Josh Lucas to the role of the scheming district attorney who will become the disfigured criminal in the next film.
Meanwhile, last month Angelina Jolie had signed to play Marianne Pearl in Michael Winterbottom's feature adaptation of "A Mighty Heart". 'Heart' chronicles her attempts to extricate her husband, celebrated journalist Daniel Pearl, from the clutches of Pakistani terrorists before his untimely death in 2002.
At the time the role of Daniel Pearl had yet to be cast, but now The Washington Post reports that"Judging Amy" & "The Birdcage" star turned "Capote" screenwriter Dan Futterman has revealed he's already been cast. In fact it seems he's recently come back from ten days of filming in the Middle East, and according to him - "The movie's not about Daniel Pearl - it's about the search for him. We talked a lot about the balance, showing enough to make an impact".
