A flyer from Japan for the upcoming James Bond flick "Casino Royale" has just arrived at Commander Bond.Net and features the "illuminated eyes" artwork as previously seen at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, along with Craig's Bond sporting an Omega Seamaster Professional wristwatch.

Meanwhile musician Chris Cornell, hired to do the film's title song 'You Know My Name', confirmed that the tune will be quite a change from some of the recent 007 title themes - "I just got a call, and at first I thought there must be some kind of mistake... Everybody I met with said the same thing -- 'This isn't anything like any other James Bond film, so we don't really want that song, either. So go do whatever you want".

More specifically that means "more uptempo and a little more aggressive than any other Bond theme has been, maybe since Paul McCartney [Live And Let Die]. It has an orchestra, but it also has some angry sounding guitar, and it's got feedback" he said to Billboard.com.

MI6 reports that some minor pick-up shots are taking place at Pinewoood Studios in the next couple of days, just a week after the famous 007 Stage was destroyed by fire. Filming on the Venice set which was housed in that stage had been completed some days beforehand.

Empire Magazine has revealed that the official production budget stands at a quite economical $72 million, roughly half that of the last film "Die Another Day" ($142 million). Budgets for a new Bond typically start low and increase as his tenure goes on - Brosnan's debut outing "GoldenEye" was produced for only $60 million for example.

Finally, in one of the more strange pieces of product placement I've ever heard, cult British boxers maker Sunspel to outfit 007 star Daniel Craig in the designer underwear in the film. Product placement is down in general for the film with only eight partners (as compared with Die Another Day's twenty). Most notably Omega Watches & Smirnoff Vodka.
