Walden Media projects are set to be distributed through Fox channels thanks to a joint venture specializing in marketing family films reports the trades.
The deal covers all projects Walden produces going forward except those already set up at other studios, such as "Charlotte's Web" at Paramount and "The Chronicles of Narnia" sequels at Walt Disney.
The first pic to be handled will be "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" which stars Dustin Hoffman as a 243-year-old eccentric who owns the strangest, most fantastic, wonderful toy store in the world. Natalie Portman and Jason Bateman also star.
Next pics to be released are adaptations of Susan Cooper's child immortality fantasy "The Dark Is Rising" and Jeanne DuPrau's teen mystery "City of Ember".
