Warner Bros. Pictures is planning a big screen adaptation of DC Comics' 1967 comic classic "Deadman" reports the trades.

The character is a ghost who, when alive, was a circus acrobat named Boston Brand. He was murdered during a trapeze performance by an unknown assailant but his spirit was granted the power to possess the living in order to search for his murderer as well as help the innocent.

Guillermo del Toro and Don Murphy will produce this contemporary take on the tale and are looking for a screenwriter to adapt.
