Shrek 3 & MI3 Updates

Dreamworks' Jeffrey Katzenberg talked about the possibility of further "Shrek" sequels over the weekend at the Cannes Film Festival:

"Before the first one was finished we talked about what the whole story of Shrek is, and each of the chapters answers questions about the first movie and gives us an insight. Shrek 3 and 4 are going to reveal other unanswered questions and, finally, in the last chapter, we will understand how Shrek came to be in that swamp, when we meet him in the first movie. There is a reason he came to be there, but there is another chapter to the story before that".

They also gave an extensive presentation of scenes from their Fall animated CG comedy "Shark Tale", and JoBlo has a detailed description of everything that happened from footage to interview bites.

Meanwhile the always reliable 'Joe S' has news on a whole other franchise - "Mission: Impossible" which is gearing up for it's third entry shortly:

"Crew members have begun taking off to London, Berlin and Africa for up to six months of work on MI3. Word is, that many departments have not been complete shooting script to prepare from, but rather, so-called "beat sheets" which OUTLINE the major action. Seems like a couple of things may be going on. First, there's the usual secrecy involved in such high profile projects. Second, there apparently really isn't a final script to work from".

Thanks to 'Greenie' & 'Joe S'
