Out at the Television Critics Association yesterday in Pasadena, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone revealed why they've been resisting doing another "South Park" feature film to iF Magazine:
"We have no plans to do a movie," says Stone. "If we came up with a really good idea, maybe we'd do it. But I don't know. We just don't want to. What would happen if we said yes, 'Oh, we're going to do a movie,' it would be announced and everyone would ask us, 'Where's the movie?' and then we'd get all stressed out, and we don't want to get stressed out."
For Parker, he reveals that he prefers TV to movies anyway. "Especially in the comedy world, where something is funny and then a year and a half later, you're still working on that idea and you're like, 'This is so not funny,'" says Parker.
