"Crash" helmer Paul Haggis is lining up Vince Vaughn ("Wedding Crashers", "The Break-Up") to star in Sony Pictures political drama "Against All Enemies" reports the trades.
Based on Richard Clarke's inside-Washington memoir, the book chronicles how the Bush administration handled the al-Qaida threat both before and after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Sean Penn has been widely reported to be on board to play Clarke. Vaughn is being talked about to fill the role of former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill.
Haggis is supervising screenwriter James Vanderbilt who's penning the second draft of the screenplay.
