With principal photography on Fox's Fantastic Four sequel slated to begin later this summer in Vancouver, the rumor mill has been flying about who might portray the big new casting addition - the Silver Surfer.
Director Tim Story recently revealed that the Surfer will be a CG design but that doesn't mean there won't be an actor needed to perform the role on-set (ala Andy Serkis in "The Lord of the Rings" or Bill Nighy in this weekend's "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequel) so that the performance could be digitally animated over later.
IGN FilmForce has received a tip that Canadian actor-model Bruce James ("Snakes on a Plane", TV's "Dead Like Me", "Tru Calling" and "The L Word") may be the frontrunner to play the part.
