Angelina Jolie has signed on to voice a role in DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda", her first post-pregnancy project reports Variety.
Scheduled for release in May 2008, "Kung Fu Panda" is about a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant whose shape doesn't lend itself to kung fu fighting. But when powerful enemies are at the gates, all hopes are pinned on a prophesy naming Po as the "Chosen One" to save the day.
Jolie joins Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu and Ian McShane in the CG-animated pic. Jolie will voice Tigress, one of the "furious five" martial-arts masters who helps train Po (Black) to become Kung Fu Panda.
