J. Michael Straczynski announced at the Charlotte's Heroes Convention this weekend that scribe David Goyer ("Batman Begins", "Blade") is writing a treatment for the film version of "Thor" reports Newsarama.
Previously screenwriter Mark Protosevich ("Poseidon", "The Cell") was attached to pen the script, so its unsure if Goyer will re-writ Protosevich's script or start from scratch.
Thor is part of Marvel's independent production slate of feature films expected to be financed with Marvel's $525 million revolving film financing facility and distributed through Paramount Pictures.
