He-Man No Longer A Universal Master

CanMag reports that the proposed live-action version of "He-Man" has been put on hold, because director John Woo has opted instead to do some projects back in his home country with Chow Yun-Fat.

Woo was reportedly considering several actors to play the role of "He-Man" in the film, including big names Paul Walker and Triple H as well as some relative newcomers. It's expected that when it gets up again - it'll be someone else in the role.

The article also cites the "Spy-Hunter" film adaptation as being put on hold as well, even though producer Adrian Askarieh has since stated that whilst Woo left the project a year ago, it's still progressing as planned.
