USA Today recently ran a feature with quite a few new photos from the set of the Steve Carell comedy "Evan Almighty" set for release next Summer. Click Here for the photos and here for the set report.
Meanwhile, 'Frank' drops in this quick set report: "Last Friday (June 24th), the first unit came back to Staunton, Virginia to shoot a political rally for Evan Baxter (Steve Carell), who was running for Congress. It included a picnic, ride on the park train with lots of kids, a hot dog eating contest, and of course, baby kissing.
Later that day the shoot moved to the court house for another political rally and a parade. While we were in Staunton, Virginia, the scene was actually supposed to be Buffalo, NY. The director had everyone do "the Shrek ending", with all of us dancing in the street to the sounds of 'everybody dance now'".
