What's Going Down in Queensland

So it ain't exactly Vancouver, Sydney, Morocco or LA, but the Gold Coast Studios of Queensland, Australia have seen their share of major productions from "Peter Pan" to "Scooby Doo". Now, after success with "Ghost Ship" a while back, another Dark Castle film is being made and 'Tweety Tweasures' has a scoop on what's going down right now:

"They're currently they're filming a remake of the old Vincent Price thing "House of Wax" (Apparently it was going to be in 3-D like the original, but they decided against it) at the moment, it's got Paris Hilton in it. Seen her about - always got someone with her - but never stopped to say hello. Joel Silver is the producer of the film though and he's been in to the shop a couple of times now. Quite a nice person, in the fact that he at least smiles and does talk. He was telling me a bit about the film on Monday, saying it's about a quarter way through, and who's in it. Next, he says, he is going to make that movie out of the "Wonder Woman" comics. He said it won't be like the old TV series, but it will be lighter in tone than say "X Men". Asking who'd be Wonder Woman, he said they haven't decided yet. I read that Charisma Caprenter from Angel (the TV Show) wanted the role but didn't get it, anyway I asked him and he said "She's good actually. Looks the part. She's definitely still under consideration. Let's see if she can fight". A couple of co-workers have said Hi and Bye to him before too and they found out that he's doing the remake of "Logan's Run", and might be coming back here to do a movie called something like "Theatre of Blood" or "Theatre of Doom".
