Antonio Banderas spoke briefly about a possible third "Shrek" comedy which has already been planned by Dreamworks - "I’m not signed, no, I haven’t signed. I heard that they are thinking about that possibility. I think the interesting thing about actually Jeffrey, Jeffrey Katzenberg has been responsible for the whole thing. Sometimes in sequels, what you have is just a producer, very smart, that tries to do the movie for four times the price that he did the first one. And use the hit of the first one just to make big easy money.
But that’s not the case of Jeffrey. Jeffrey actually was kind of in competition mode with himself. He wanted just to overcome the first one and go further with the technology aspect of it and with the content of the movie and the insertion of different characters. I’m telling you, not just because I’m here to talk. If I weren’t in the second part, I would still be talking beautifully about Shrek because I am a fan of the first one". In talk of a whole other sequel, FT13TH Films posted a scoop talking all about the recent rumours and speculation in regards to the "Freddy vs. Jason" sequel:
"To those who say no to 'Freddy vs Jason vs Ash', forget it. It's gonna happen if Sam Raimi says yes. If he says no all though some of you will be happy just think of this, what has New Line done that past 10 or so months on this project? Talking F v J v A not F v J 2. So if Sam Raimi says no then we may have to wait another full year to get F v J 2 or gasp not even a movie at all. A treatment has been written and I'm told its very good, because I was dead set againt Ash in the movie but was told movie is filled with lots of goodies including great fight (on paper anyways) scenes and good throwbacks to all three franchises" Thanks to 'Pat' & 'Don's Bouncer'
