The new trailer for the zombie sequel was previewed to press this week with co-star and "Mummy" actor Oded Fehr on hand to answer questions and About.Com was there to field a report. First up a trailer description: "The trailer actually opens with a fake commercial for a beauty product, that devolves into a zombie. Then Jovovich appears to recap the events of the first film. The military then approaches a guy in a wheelchair and decides to seal the town in. We see the large gates closing the townies in with the undead. When it looks like the heroes are done for in an abandoned church, Alice crashes through the stained glass window on a motorcycle. Some of the CGI shots in the trailer were still temporary grayscale models, and one of Milla's wall run shots had a wire that it's not clear if the wire is part of the film, or to be digitally removed later"

Fehr commented about the effects-filled finale - "The final scene, there’s a huge, huge battle scene and it’s mainly Alice’s character coming up against the Nemesis. And it was a huge scene to film. There’s a lot of elements involved and I’m very excited about seeing how that will come together. As far as CGI for that scene, there’s not that much CGI. There are no added creatures as far as I remember in that scene or things like that".
