Anton Yelchin, Robert Downey Jr., Hope Davis, Kat Dennings and Tyler Hilton are set to star in the coming of age tale "Charlie Bartlett" reports Empire Online.
In the Gustin Nash-scripted dark comedy, Yelchin ("Alpha Dog") plays a wealthy teen who goes to a new public high school and ingratiates himself into its social fabric by using his charm to become the school's resident "psychiatrist." Downey plays the school principal.
Jon Poll, an editor on the "Fockers" and "Austin Powers" movies and producer on "The 40-Year-Old Virgin", makes his directorial debut. Sidney Kimmel Entertainment will produce and release the project through MGM. Shooting begins this month.
