Parker Posey ("Superman Returns", "Best in Show"), along with SNL alumni Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch, are set to head up comedy "Spring Breakdown" which Ryan Shiraki ("Freshman Orientation") will direct for Warner Bros. Pictures reports Variety.
Shiraki and Dratch collaborated on the script about three thirtysomething friends who break the monotony of their uninspired lives by vacationing on an island that's a popular spring break getaway for college co-eds. One of the women works for a powerful senator whose daughter is one of those co-eds, only she's as geeky as her chaperones.
Shooting begins early next month in Los Angeles.
