In referring to the planned "Magnum, P.I." movie recently, Tom Selleck apparently told the press he wouldn't have anything to do with it reports Cinematical.
This dashed all hopes the actor would at least make a cameo of some sort. Selleck apparently not only rejected the idea, but he went as far as to call it "stupid".
Ever since the Magnum movie was announced, the likes of George Clooney and Vince Vaughn have been rumored to be competing for the lead role, but it was expected the original P.I. would show up at some point. Not anymore.
