"Independence Day" and "Godzilla" producer Dean Devlin is set to make his directorial debut on the supernatural thriller "Ghosting" reports the trades.
Jessie Alexander's script centers on a disabled cop who works with a group of undercover investigators who temporarily paralyze hearts to move back and forth between the land of the living and the dead, so he can conduct investigations from the other side.
Shooting on the FX-heavy film begins early next year once Devlin wraps up work on the sci-fi adventure "Isobar".
